My Vacation in Club Med Cherating, Malaysia by Gneb

My family and I were on cuti-cuti Malaysia (Malaysian vacation) earlier this year. We decided to go to Club Med in Cherating, East Coast of Malaysia.

We’ve been to the Club Meds in Bali and Phuket previously, so we thought it’d be good to check out the Club Med here in our own land. To add to the excitement, we rented a van to take us all the way from Penang to Pahang.

Club Med Cherating is a great place to be, if all you want to do are relaxing, chilling out and enjoying your vacation as how vacation should be. Here, you forget about all your work stress and you don’t have to put up with the hustle and bustle of the city.

Overlooking the South China Sea

Here in Club Med Cherating, you enjoy the wide variety of amenities. From the very basic of swimming pool

to the more unusual of archery, trapeze and your very own batik painting (yup, I painted this myself, nice?)

The rooms are very comfortable and relaxing…

Especially if you have a sea view like this

Club Med is also about eating and drinking all day long. You get breakfast, followed by lunch and late lunch and dinner in the evening. All are included in the price.

Dinner is a big thing here in Club Med. Tables are nicely laid and the food varieties are amazing!

Drinks (alcoholic and non alcoholic) are included in the price too and you can have them whenever, wherever and as much as you like.

I just can’t get enough of the cocktails.

Tea Time..

Evening..

Night time..

After dinner is the show time. The G.O.’s (gentils organisateurs) will put on great shows every night without fail. Admission is free because it’s all included in the price too

This is then followed by “boogie time”! Yup, sometimes by the beach when the mood is right!

After that, bed time is completely up to you.

When you wake up the next morning, a whole new relaxing day awaits. Sometimes, with the company of these friends from the nearby forests too..

Even a real life Hornbill!!!!
